Fred and Carol Schrader have long shared a passion for Pinot Noir and Chardonnay and in 2007, along with good friends and partners David and Judy Steiner, they embarked on a journey to the coast to find the ideal site to cultivate profound California clone wines. From this common desire, the friends founded Boars’ View.
Two ridgelines in from the Pacific Ocean, in the heart of California’s Sonoma Coast, the breathtaking Boars’ View vineyard sits atop a rolling hilltop at nearly 1000 feet elevation. Ideally situated with full sun exposure, the complement of marine-influenced coastal climate paired with superb soil composition creates the perfect environment for growing world-class Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
